We made it to California!!!
The house is adorable, but not quite as clean as we like, so we’ll hold up on the house pictures for a minute…
On our first day here, Diane showed me how to clean my car at the self car wash.
There are lots of knobs and choices. It’s like an automat, but for cars. To tell you the truth I probably would have preferred a sandwich…
This is the beach that’s nine blocks from our house! So pretty! I love the Pacific already. We also have a Starbucks one block away, a tapas place and a taco place one block away, a Whole Foods and CVS three blocks away, and a proper grocery four blocks away! Our neighborhood is really adorable. When we were driving around our neighborhood, my car hit 100,000 miles! Ack!
We came home to the nicest surprise! We had gotten a housewarming bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries from my brother! Guess how many are left…
More news to come, but here are more pictures from our trip from my camera….
New Orleans local beer. Yum!
Diane met her soulmate….
Mardi gras decorations!
Really cool hotel bar in new Orleans. It’s the top of an old carousel and the whole bar rotates!
Pre-beignet face!
Some of the Mardi Gras floats we found in the warehouse!
Bahahaha. This one is my favorite!
On our way to Santa Fe:
Two of my favorite girls on the red rocks!
Part of an old fire engine we saw in the Ghost Town.
Jerome Ghost Town…
Posing…
Told ya we found a leg! Natalie really wanted to take it home but we wouldn’t let her…
